Love. This word is often considered as the most wonderful feeling in this whole wide world.  Hmmm. Lablab sa tah karon kei gikan man balemtayms de ang show. Hihi, btaw. As what most inlove friends of mine tell me when I ask them to what it feels to be inlove, they just say “Basta, chada ang feeling.” Haaha, mga tapulan jud. Anyway, in that statement alone, we can say love in its nature is indescribable and yes, undefinable. If I were to ask to give meaning to love, perhaps I can’t tell the exact definition because love is so meaningful that it possibly goes beyond any word. It may mean happiness. It may mean wonder. It may mean magic. It may mean fulfilling but often than not, it could also mean pain.

Now, before I go on further, let me share with you this message sent to me by a close friend  of mine this morning.

There. From the quote itself, we can take it that love is always accompanied with pain especially when it is only one-sided love. It could also be that painful when two people love each other and for many years, they thought they will go on in a happily-ever-after but then suddenly, one of the two will fall out of love, then there, the other one will be left hanging. I have heard many cases the same as this from a lot of friends of mine and base from their stories, it really breaks a strong heart. I also experienced this once and it really hurts a lot that it took me a lot of years. From my personality, I know how to hide it but really, it is very painful and I don’t know if I am healed already. Yes, so painful as if the whole world has crushed in just a single bang and well, it feels that there’s no happy tomorrow that will come.

Indeed, very miserable. However, what’s the only solution to that is learn to forgive, let go and move on. It will take time, maybe weeks, months, years or even a lifetime but what matters there is you learn and at the end, you will be thankful because it’s better that you let go of a person who is not for you and destiny gave you a chance to find the person who is really meant for you and will give you the real happiness you actually deserved.

Yesterday, February 10, 2012, we went to Pedro “Oloy” N. Roa Sr. Elementary School in Calaanan, Cagayan de Oro City to implement our I Love to Read program for our Elective 4 – Project Management. Upon entering the school, I found out that it's one of the schools that were extremely affected by the typhoon Sendong last December 16, 2012. *sigh* It's really awful and it cause them a very hard time – maybe, hardest time of all. But fortunate enough, the school is already in the stage of fixation.

Anyway, I'm gonna tell you about the fun we had there yesterday with my co-organizers of the program and the pupils there.

As we entered their classroom, we were very surprised because the pupils stood up and greeted us “Good afternoon, visitors!”. Oi, I miss that line, it's the greetings I've lived for so many years in my elementary and high school to attract and impress visitors. Haaha. So, let's continue. When we fully stood up in the classroom premise, I can see in their eyes that they are really excited. In fact, they kept on looking at us. Hmm.. I am a bit doubtful about the reason why they keep on looking, is it because we came? Or is it because of the foods we brought? Haaha, well actually, we brought foods for them, a lot of candies, sandwiches, chocolate pasties, juices and some cookies, peanuts and jelly. Of course, we know that it's the kiddos favorite prizes of all activities we come to organize. Factually, even in keeping them silent, you need to offer them prizes and then, there, all will follow. Oh 'di ba? Nakakahiya naman, mas effective teacher pa si Wiggles Chocolate kaysa sa ako. Teehee. In there, we sang Sampung Palaka and with all the pupils dancing with it, we played Read-a-word chaired by me (where the contestant is chosen by passing the crown while everyone is singing and when we signal stop! The crown holder will read the word given), we listened to the story “Rainbow Zebra” while Hope and Shiela read the story for all of us, we played pick-a-fruit with a question of the story on the back of each fruit pictures pasted on a picture of a tree, and we take pictures. Fun, fun, fun! Indeed, it's really means happiness because we laugh to the max. Some of the kids also kissed our chicks (me and Rhiza) and shook our hands. Haaha, artista na diay ko, langga? *Laugh*

The time we had there is just two hours but it filled my whole day with fun and smiles. In a way that it is away from school, away from work, away from the sight of the busy traffic, away from pressure, away from depression. Just an “open happiness”. Haaha, coca-cola?

Spoiled Brat. It's what most of us call to someone who wants everything, then grabs everything and with no any reason, he or she should have that “everything”.

I am that kind of a teen. Sometimes, I want to be angry with myself because I am that. I feel that what I'm wanting is already too much. It's like “my gosh, Irene, ga-kalas-kalas lang ka ug kwarta” and then, at the same time, it's bothering me because it's for nothing and to think that that money is not mine, it's actually from my parents. I know, of course, I really, reallyknow that. I am not really that “walang paki” type that's why I'm considering this habit as a problem. However, it's all I want and if it is not given, I will feel uncomfortable and the feeling is disturbing. My head then aches and all I can do is to cry.

I don't know why I am like this. Maybe because I was just pampered too much, cared too much by my parents.

I'm not just referring to the material things I want. It also goes along my behavior. I am an impatient kind of person, a person who doesn't want to wait for a long time, who does not want to endure any unforgiving circumstances, who does not want to be the first of this, first of that and blah, blah, blah.. (impatient again, who doesn't like clingy explanations. So, no long talks. Heehe.) I mean, if I want this and that, it should be now and I really mind it if you say wait. If I want to go somewhere with somebody, he or she should be in our meeting place before I would be there or if I come first, five minutes is the time span of my waiting or otherwise, I'll be off even if it means I will go alone. Oh 'diba? Demanding? Well, that's it. KthnxDIE.

However, I'm starting to think about this: anyone can't control situations at all times. Perhaps, there would be an unexpected circumstances that delayed your appointment with that person. Me, myself, should control my being spoiled brat because it will just benefit me nothing. The bottom line here is in every situation, weighing both sides is very important.
